🟨 My hubby and I came here to :. Original Botak Jones at Depot Lane Food Centre, 118 Depot Lane, Singapore 109754. 🔵 We were here after visiting my nephew's home. As I wasn't hungry, I had only a iced tea and my hubby had his chicken chops with fries and coleslaw. 🤭 I tasted part of his food 💛 The food was delicious. The chicken chop was scrumptious, and the iced tea was great. 🟩 Service wise = the staff were efficient and friendly. ✅️ The dishes at Botak Jones were all priced very reasonably at affordable prices. This is I guess to cater to the residents living nearby at the HDB blocks.

Kitty and I recently joined our motorbike friends for lunch at Original Botak Jones, located in an industrial park canteen. While the portions were generous, the food itself was a bit disappointing, and the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. We ordered a variety of dishes, including: - 2 orders of Cajun Fries (Large) - 1 order of Chicken Gumbo (Large) - 2 orders of Fish and Chips (Set) - 1 order of Mushroom Soup - 1 order of Grilled Salmon (Set) - 1 order of Baked Cheese Potato - 1 order of Double Botak Burger (Set) - 1 order of Caesar Chicken The Cajun fries were okay, but unfortunately, the salads were really not up to standard, and both the onion soup and mushroom soup lacked flavor. It's a shame, because the fish in the fish and chips was decent, and the salmon (which I tried a bite of) was also okay. We shared and tried each other's dishes, but nothing stood out as a favorite. The canteen itself wasn't very vibrant, and it was rather quiet, not as clean as the typical food court. The prices were also a bit steep, considering the setting and the quality of the food. We felt that the prices were closer to those found in food courts or restaurants, where we would expect a higher standard of food and service, especially since it is self-service with no air conditioning or ambiance to speak of. The lack of air conditioning definitely made the place feel a bit hot and uncomfortable. Overall, it's clear that Original Botak Jones needs to work on the quality of their salads and soups and pricing to better match the expectations for the price point.

Staying at depot heights for 7 years and been patronising Botak Jones. Love their steak and burgers 😋 🍔 Double Beef Burger 🍔- a classic and indulgent treat for anyone who loves a hearty meal. Prices are on the high side. I paid $15.50 for my burger, fries and coleslaw. That aside, the food tasted amazing - their signature Botak burger is as juicy and flavorful as ever, as was their gumbo soup. The coffeeshop was rather empty on a Saturday night, so we had no issues finding a seat.
