World’s most horrible bak cho noodle ever! Not cooked by local and doesn’t has a good attitude. Generous ingredients but noodle soaked in chilli, too salty and spicy that I had to put soup over. Fish ball taste horrible too!

I had nasi Padang on 2 different Saturday. I ordered the assam fish and was given the tail which is a small piece. Last Saturday, I ordered same assam fish and sayur loleh with white rice. It cost $8. It is a bit ex right. See the picture of my portion.

The food court cleaner (in her 40s/ 50s) has an unacceptable attitude towards customers and her colleagues. She ignored & walked past me when I asked her to wipe the table left dirty by a customer who just stepped out (& she saw him leaving). Then I thought she did not hear me. Then when she turned around and saw me signal to her (with eye contact) she walked off again. I went up to her, and asked her nicely to clean the table & she told me the table /area opposite the drinks stall is not her territory, and I should have asked the other old aunty ( much older than her & sorting returned trays) to clean up, and why single her out! FYI, though was Sunday noon, the crowd was not there yet and she was strolling not wiping tables even with a cloth in hand! What a horrible person lacking compassion even for old folks/ her elderly colleagues.

On 11 May 23 at 12.30 pm, lunch at Tampines Giant food court. I went to this malay food stall n from visual the food looks nice n mouth watering. As I choose chicken rendang, cucumber Achar & salted egg - 3 dishes which cost me $9.50, its totally over priced. The moment the stall staff told me the price, I totally lost my appetite. **Tasting time, the chicken was not fresh, hard n rubbery, n the cucumber was overcooked. The food was totally not worth the money I spent. If the Giant Food Court management is reading my review, please do something about the stall n look into the staff over charging customers for worst quality food.

This review is for the Dim Sum stall. They have a reasonable wide variety of selection, and the ease of ordering comes with the fact that every item/set is at $1.80. Also, for fried items, u can get 6 for $5. The curry puff is really good. Satisfactory level of spiciness and potatoes. The skin is not the flaky type but bites off easily. The pink rice cake is fried, but tough to bite. Will not recommend for those weaker teeth. The "Han Chee Peng" both salty and sweet versions are good, adequate sweetness or savory. Butterfly, I guess depends on the time of the day, it gets tougher over time. The taste however is still good and covered with generous amount of sesame seeds. Will try other options next time
