Ordered takeaway from the Japanese store, was expecting at least some sauce and radish to come with it but the salmon was dripped with minimal sauce enough to only coat the surface and the rice was hard and dry like sahara desert. I paid $8 for this. Does it cost that much to have some sauce to go with the rice too? Why the discrepancy between dine-in and takeaway?

Disappointing experience at the fish soup store. As u can see from the 2nd and 3rd picture, the fish wasn’t fully cooked. It was still slightly transparent and bloody. The price ($8 + $1 noodles) wasn’t worth for the quality and portion. There were only about 7 slices of fish and not forgetting, a few were undercooked. Staff who served us was also very rude, gave a black face and can’t be bothered to acknowledge our order so we had to say out the order a few times. Wouldn’t come back here again unfortunately and I’d rather pay more for the same dish elsewhere.

Choa Chu Kang food junction. Bara Penyet store. The service at this establishment was appalling. I specifically and repeatedly requested no chili, yet my order was served with chili toppings. The lack of professionalism and seriousness displayed by the staff member, the Pinoy lady, was disgusting to say the least. Downright unethical behaviour. She even refused to replace or refund my meal, citing the reason, "Sorry, I scooped the rice already," which is frankly unacceptable. This raises questions about consumer rights and protections. It's one thing to not issue a refund, but to not even offer to replace the incorrectly prepared dish is outrageous. I was left with no choice but to eat something I never ordered, heed my advise against patronizing this store. Never again. Do better Bara Penyet, Caplitaland

Putien lor mee at 6.90. Very nice. But not much ingredients. See pieces of pork and vegetables. The rest are filled up with alot of noodles.

Would leave it less than 1 star if I could. The whole place is a slum. Disgusting dining conditions with stores/employees that obviously don’t want to be working here. Diners left tables in a complete mess and I was expected to clean up after them. Cleaning employees couldn’t be bothered to talk or answer you. If not for Burgs being part of this decrepit hole, I wouldn’t step foot into this place.
